I am constantly asking questions. When creating a dance I explore these questions in my creative process rather than trying to create a work with an "answer". I am interested in building spatial relationships, using architecture as a template for movement invention. I make artistic choices using my intuition as a tool for clear intention. With all of this in mind, I want my work to give something honest to my audience and to give my audience the freedom to explore their own thoughts and their own voices. I hope they find questions to ask through my work. My goal is to blur the lines between performer and audience, and to promote exploration of communication and creation in their lives. No apologies.

The types of ideas and thoughts that I ask of myself are:

How can I surprise myself?

How can I be honest? What can I discover by experimenting with the truth?

How can I create connectedness?

How can I play with randomness and accidents?

How can I make sense of nonsense?

How can I get to know you? How can the human experience be translated into my work?

How can I explore and comment on social normatives and human behavior?

How can I keep finding more questions? How can I keep myself and my audience needing to know more?

How can I be real?
